Are you looking for a new restaurant to try? Or maybe something new to do on this weekend? Or what you should check out while you’re visiting Dallas? Well, your girl Lyd has got you covered! One of my favorite hobbies is scouting out the hottest spots in my city and giving peeps the low down on my experience. Now that I’m back home, I feel like I’m catching up on all the new(ish) places that opened up in Dallas while I was gone in September.
I had brunch for the first time here a week ago and LOVED my experience. First, the decor is on fleek. Second, it has a killer black and white striped wall for photos. Third, they have
almost bottomless mimosas. And on top of that, their menu can please all parties – they have everything from acai bowls to chicken & waffles.
Yayoi Kusama’s “All the Eternal Love I Have for Pumpkins” at the DMA
I finally got to visit my first infinity room when I was at the Broad in LA. Now I am PUMPED that one has finally come to the DMA. You might be wondering, “what the heck is an infinity room!?” Basically, it’s a 10′ x 10′ mirrored room with an art installation in it, causing the effect that it goes on FOREVER. I guarantee you it will be one of the most ‘grammable spots in Dallas these next few months.
Up on Knox
Literally on the same block as my apartment (well, my first apartment on Knox…stay tuned for details on my new crib :)), this restaurant is most definitely a splurge worthy spot. And you know it must be great because it has been PACKED every night since it opened!
Thanks to Evian for sponsoring this post. In one of the *literal* hottest spots in the country (I love you, Texas…even when it’s October and 90 degrees), Evian’s facial spray keeps you cool and hydrated throughout the day. Check out http://evianspray.com/ for all the deets and where you can get yours! 🙂
